Olympos cable car
At the peak of the
Taurus ridge, the Olympos cable car is located 15 km from the resort town of
Kemer. It was built in 2007 by the Swiss company Doppelmayr / Garaventa Gruppe.
The ascent to the cable car is a very exciting journey, at an altitude of 2365 meters you can observe picturesque landscapes, admire the surroundings, the beautiful sea, pine forests, rocks, and canyon.
The cable car is considered the longest in Europe, has a length of 4350 meters, and also has the syllable "from sea to sky".
The cable car has two points: lower and upper. Below, passengers sit in the cabin, and from the top, they disembark, getting on the observation deck. The cabins are very roomy and spacious, the speed is 36 km / h.
