General Turkish Language
Participants of the International Antalya Summer School can choose a Turkish language course according to the TÖMER program, which covers all levels A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 in the format of group and individual lessons.
Below are the definitions for each level:
A1: After completing this level, you will be able to understand basic expressions, everyday phrases, tell about yourself, where you are from, and what you do.
A2: At the end of this level, you will be able to explain yourself in Turkish on everyday topics, tell who you are, where you live, express your basic needs, understand the meaning of the elementary text and simple letters.
B1: After this level, you will be able to answer and understand many situations that you will encounter while traveling or visiting Turkey. You will be able to communicate more freely on topics familiar to you (work, school, leisure), understand interviews, videos and films at an intermediate level of the Turkish language.
B2: At this stage, you will be able to freely discuss a specific topic, understand the meaning of a complex text, conduct a fluent dialogue with a native Turkish speaker. Watch and freely understand films with various themes, interviews, and shows.
C1: After completing this level, you will be able to understand complex and long texts and recognize hidden meanings. Freely express your thoughts both in the social and professional sphere. You will be able to understand films using idioms and slang. Write structured, complex texts.
